Welcome to the Biodiversity South West website!

The South West region has an abundance of fantastic wildlife and habitats. This website supports the work of our partnership and provides information for those who wish to get involved in protecting and enhancing biodiversity in the South West.

Biodiversity South West has been set up to:

• promote and enable the biodiversity sector in the South West to be as effective as possible at delivering the England Biodiversity Strategy through regional and local action;
• advocate and champion policies for biodiversity at a regional level and ensure relevant strategies and organisations are working together towards a common goal;
• represent and promote the value of biodiversity to other organisations and sectors and to foster partnerships to achieve these aims.
